when riding double does the inexperienced rider ride in front or back?
my friend is coming over to ride my horse, and i wanna ride double after he rides so we can go on a trail. should he sit in front or in back?
yeah id have the reins. and my horse is really really good double
i would have him sit in the front so if your horse freaks out or starts trotting your friend is in the saddle and not on your horses butt where he could fall off. but you should have the reins, especially at first.
