Is it illegal to ride with a helmet in Australia that doesn't have the standards sticker on it?
I bought a vemar helmet and notice it doesn't have the australian standards sticker - can I still use it?
Yes it is illegal. If you get pulled up by the cops you will get a fine.
The instructor told us how a guy he knew pulled the sticker off his helmet and got pulled up and fined. He then had to go buy a new helmet.
You could always go to cash converters and slyly pull a sticker off a used helmet if they have one.
